I am related to the Dutch New York, New Jersey, Ohio, etc. Rolls. But my great grandfather James Whallon Roll lived in Zanesville, Ohio sometime in the 1860s and 1870s. He moved there from Cincinnati and then went on to Kansas. Do you suppose that this just a wild coincidence that he would move to a city that had the French ROLLs ? I have yet to find a connection to the Zanesville ROLLs and would love to be able to find one. Do you know if any of the Dutch ROLLs were ever in Muskingum County? Barbara Rall Peiffer
