    3. Hi Barb, Good to see you on the list again. I really don't know why your ancestors moved where they did, but usually it had something to do with land. My Roll/Rall's went from Clark County Ohio to Allen County Indiana then to Reno County Kansas and that was for cheap or free land. I have no knowledge of any Dutch Rolls in Muskingum County. By 1860 the railroad was all over Ohio making travel much easier. Also the "Cumberland Road" went through Zanesville to Columbus to Springfield. This road originated in Baltimore. Now it would be interesting to find out in what Port city the French Rolls arrived. Tom, if you read this message, could you tell us where your ancestor's arrived? Also, do you live close to Zanesville? If so have you run across any unrelated Rolls in your research of Muskingum County?
