He and Prudence (Vance) Roll settled on a farm in the Southeastern Section of Morris Co., N.J. in the vicinity of Chatham, where all their children were born. They migrated to Ohio in 1805, where Abraham seemed to have been the leader and business agent for the group which came there that year. He had extensive holdings in Millcreek Twp., Springdale Twp. and adjacent Butler Co. These were highly productive farms. They were buried in the Quaker (Roll) Cemetery, Cincinnati, Hamilton Co., Ohio.
