I think the Kansas census microfilms are restricted at the LDS, I was correct yesterday, you can borrow them through inter library loan from the Kansas Historical Society. I have not checked out their web site yet, the URL is http://history.cc.ukans.edu/heritage/kshs/resource/findpeop.htm By the looks of the URL, you might be able to do a search at this site.
