Ch. bp: Maria, Sept. 1, 1700; Fransyna, Oct. 18, 1702. From "GENEALOGIES OF THE FIRST SETTLERS OF ALBANY" MANGELSE, Jan, was in Beverwyck as early as 1657; his father-in-law was Pieter Adriaense Soegemackelyk. Ch: Johannes, bp. Jan. 27, 1686. I also have copies of two wills from the NEW YORK HISTORICAL SOCIETY. One is for Mangle Jansen ROLL and the other is for John ROLL of Turtle Bay, New York.
