Hello Martha: You are not the only one to have the name of Volkie Jans as the wife of Jan Mangelse, seems like the majority have had it. One of the first things I ever found on this family had the name Tryntje on it and so when ever I ran across Volkie Janse, I questioned it. Then when I found the agreement between Claes Jansen van Bockhoven and Jan Mangelse, I thought I had figured out what had happened. Did everyone get that agreement? I sent it out a few weeks ago, let me know if you didn't or would like it again. I will not send it to the list again unless most need it, but will be happy to send it to individuals.
