    1. [ROLL] "Dutch" Reformed Chruch of Staten Island
    2. Cousins, Today I was on Staten Island in the Port Richmond area, and had to turn south off of Richmond Terrace because of a detour. There is a church on Port Richmond Avenue, just a feet hundred feet from Richmond Terrace and a few hundred yards south of the Kill Van Kull. It's now called the "Reformed Church of Staten Island" but when formed was the "Dutch Reformed Church" and it has an old cemetery with a great many Dutch names on tombstones. Many of the tombstones are deterioted and some delaminated but a few are readable. The congregation goes back to the late 1600's but the cemetery is a bit younger. I was told there to write the church requesting information as to ROLL's and VanWOGGELUM's, which I will do. I was also told that the original church was located in the historic "Voorlezes" house in Richmondtown Does anyone know of it and has anyone gotten any records or a record of who may be buried there? When I do write, is there any specific requests for anyone for me to put in my letter? Dave (LI)
