The following John Roll has to be part of the NY/NJ Dutch Roll family. Does anyone have the surname of the 3rd wife of John Roll (1733 NJ - 1808 OH), son of John And Elizabeth? He married 1st Rachel VanWinkle who died NJ 1768; married 2nd Edith Wick about 1769 (first child born Aug 1770), she died NJ 1775. From his will in 1808 his present wife "Lydia" was named. I would think that this John Roll would have remarried within a year or two after the death of (m2) Edith Wick as she died about the same time as her third child was born. "Who were the parents of the John ROLL who married Polly STANBURY on 2 January 1792 at the Westfield Presbyterian Church in Westfield, NJ?" Polly was a nickname, usually was not a given name.
