Thanks again to Jan Holland for her efforts in posting all those Roll files. For those that may be interested, I found three postings that were related. Family numbers 97, 1040 and 1143. Michael Roll (#97 & #1143) was the brother of George Roll (#97). William Roll (#1140) was the son of Michael Roll (#97 & #1143) and Michael's first wife. Thus William Roll (#1140) was a half brother to Michael's children with his second wife, Hedwig Zimmerman (#1143). My grandfather, Albert Roll, was one of those children.
