Services were November 30 at the First Baptist Church in Petersburg, officiated by Rev. Tom Griffen. Burial was in the PEtersburg Cemetery under the direction of Lemons Funeral Home in Plainview. Mrs. Rogers was born May 10, 1942 in Turkey, Texas. She married Keith Rogers on April 8, 1960 in Turkey. She worked for the Petersburg Schools District for over 35 years as a business manager. She was a colunteer for My Father's House and was a member of First Baptist Church. Those surviving her include her husband, Keith Rogers, a daughter, Jayne Rogers, two sons Wayne Thornton, and Brian and Nancy Rogers, daughter-in-law Debbie Thornton, nine grandchildren, Neely Rogers, Robby King, LaTasha Rogers, Misty Thorton Conger, Sara King, Cagney Rogers, Marci Mulkey, Cheyenne Thornton, and Zachary Mulkey; and a special family friend Cinnamon Nieman.
