I am trying to trace the migration of my uncle Samuel Bertram ROGERS (b. 1901) to Australia. He was born in England, was a merchant seaman during the 1920's, listed in the Electoral Rolls in West Ham, England as an absent voter until 1927. I believe that he settled in Australia after that, and married there. After WW2 he lived in Sydney (Randwick) with his wife Ada and two sons Graham and John. I have searched the NSW BMD online and cannot find any details of a marriage for him during the period searchable online. I realise that he might have migrated originally to somewhere else in Australia., or even to New Zealand. After he died (in the late fifties/ early sixties) my father lost touch with the family. Is anyone else researching him? Can anyone cast any light on the family? Thanks -- Mike Rogers
