Dear Pat, (regarding your posting below): Absalom Rogers was born on July 25, 1796 and died on May 18, 1885. He married Mildred McGehee (some have said McKee) on March 23, 1818 in Madison Co., AL. She was born June 21, 1794 and died on Jun 19, 1854. I have a list of children which does not include the Larkin Rogers you inquired about but I do feel there is a good chance that your Larkin is related to Absalom's family. This is one of the many reasons we are puttingn together a Rogers list for those having Rogers in Bedford, Rutherford, Lincoln Co., TN and Madison Co., AL. You would be more than welcome.
