KA, I know this is a longshot, but here goes anyway. Noticed the middle name of your email was DeKalb. Not very common, I don't think. My gf was Julius DeKalb Rogers, b 1829 in NC, parents Joseph Rogers and Narcissa Finch (Rogers). My gf had two other brothers and 3 half brothers, two of which to GA and TX.
