"I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my son Oliver Green Rogers Executor of this my last will and testament." and 2.Ledford Rogers born abt 1800 in Georgia I have seen the name Martha for both his spouse and his mother. Children of Ledford and ????Rogers Zenie b 17 May 1806 Edith(Eady) b 10 Mar 1809 Caroline b 1820 in Florida Betsy Ledford Rodgers was issued land patents in Florida(Tallahassee office) on 2 June 1827(3N, 1E, Section #23) for 80 acres and on 01 Oct 1827 (3N, 1E, Section #24 for 123.5 acres. The land is believed to have been in Leon Couty, FL. In the late 1700's of early 1800's the Rogers family settled around Lake Jackson and Lake Lamonia near Tallahassee, FL. They did migrate to Decatur County Georgia but the date is not known("Decatur County Past and Present", Rogers-Long-Bell, by Arminda(Long Hunt), page 358.
