I am looking for help on my 8th ggrdfather James ROGERS , February 02, 1614/15, Dedham, Essex, England, Some think he is the son of Thomas ROGERS of the Mayflower, other say he is not. I have his father as Thomas Rogers, b: July 7, 1587, Dedham, Essex, England. Thomas d: November 12, 1638, Duxbury, i. 20 Aug. 1639 Burial Hill, New Plymouth, Plymouth, MA. I have James and his brother as being children of Thomas and his first (unknown name) wife. I have Thomas' second wife as Grace Makin. Is my Thomas and Thomas of The Mayflower two different persons?
