(My ggrandparents) Patton was born 3/16/1874 in Scott Co. VA. used to be TN. died 10/28/1935 in Harlan county, Ky. His parents were Robert James Rogers and Eva Winstead. His grandparents were Patton McClellan Rogers and Malinda Tyree. His ggrandparents were Jesse and Lucinda Rice Rogers. Laura Pochantas Lanningham Rogers born 7/10/1878 died 9/29/1949 at Evarts, Ky. Her parents were Henry Franklin Lanningham and Martha Florence Flanary. Henry's parents were Andrew Jackson Lanningham and Margaret Collup. I am not sure if Laura was part indian, but she certainly looked like one, a Cherokee, she had coal black hair and eyes and high cheek bones. I have never heard of or found any data on the person you are looking for. Laura and Patton's daughter Alba May (My grandmother) was born in Kyles Ford, Tn. she married William Benjamin Crusenberry. Their son Clarence Crusenberry was my father. I have found no data on the marriage of either my grandparents or ggrandparents. If you have any data, please share with me.
