Hi Listers, I am looking for information on the RODGERS/ROGERS family of Shenandaoh County, VA. William RODGERS/ROGERS came to the area before 1750 from Pennsyvania. About that time there was a Thomas and a James RODGERS/ROGERS. Later in the century and in the early 1800s their appeared a Robert and a John RODGERS/ROGERS in the county. I would apprecitate any help with the RODGERS/ROGER family of Shenandoah County, VA. There could be some of this family living, in this time frame, over the county line in Frederick County, VA. Do you have much on Robert Rogers, My Robert Rogers was born in 1830. His family was from Va. and He was born in Kty. The family then moved to Illinois where he was married to Elizabeth Anderson b. 1839 in Illinois.(I believe this was the time of the Illinois Territory. They were in Fulton Co. Illinois in 1850s. and then on to Arkansas and Texas by 1870. I am having a time looking for my great-grandparents.
