Melissa This could be the Rebellion that occurred in 1836-1838 in Canada. The bloodiest battle was the "Battle of The Windmill" which stands on the St Lawrence River just above the Village of Prescott. Prescott is approx. across the River from Ogdensburg NY. One of the bridges crossing from the USA to Canada is at Johnstown just above Prescott. Regards Pat R
