I have logged onto ancestry at the library and the above person knows nothing of this posting. I am researching the names you mentioned in your posting: Joseph Byrd Rogers and Isaac Rogers. How do you think Isaac Rogers is connected to Joseph Byrd Rogers? Some say that Joseph Byrd's parents were John Rogers and Jane Due. Also, the Isaac Rogers that I am tracking may have married either Margaret or Nellie and may be the father of Absolom Rogers who married Mildred McGehee and could be the father of Joseph Rogers who was born in 1788 in SC.(married Nancy Mullings). And I'm also trying to figure out how Hugh Rogers, father of Jane Rogers who married John Cobb Massengale, fits into these Rogers. Just when I think I am starting to get all these Rogers figured out, I find a new twist. Would sincerely appreciate your help in untangling all this!
