My ggggrandfather was Albert George Rogers b. 1812 in Tn and married Rebecca McCuan in 1839/40 in Al. and moved on to Graves Co. Ky. He had a brother William B. and I cannot find anything else about him other than his children. His father was born in Va. or N. C. and his mother in Tn. and could be part Indian.
