I found this deed in Franklin County,Kentucky,on LDS # 266176.Vol.A,page 221, 12 June 1779, THOMAS ROGERS of Caroline County,Va. appoint my brother EDMOND ROGERS of Danville,Kentucky as my attorney to sell a tract of land granted to GEORGE ROGERS by patent from Commissioners of Kentucky on 1 December 1795 and sold by GEORGE ROGERS to me. 430 acres on Drakes Creek. He signed. I have nothing more on these ROGERS. They are not mine. Clyde
