Joseph D. Rogers, his wife Cassandra : His sons - Edwin Clay, Joseph J., Josiah - daughters, Mary Ann, Susan and Angelina. Mary Ann married Lemuel Blanton in Crawford Co. Edwin Clay Rogers and Lemuel Blanton are listed on the 1834 tax list of Green Co. Joseph D. and Edwin Rogers were listed on the 1837 tax list of Polk County. It was later that year that they left for Texas. I have wondered if there were other Rogers in the area that were connected to mine - perhaps siblings of Joseph D. Rogers.
