He married Lula Belle KEENER on 1 June 1902 in Ranger (Yell Co.), Arkansas. They resided in Arkansas where they had two daughters: Bivian Mae (8 Oct 1905 - 6 May 1931) and Mona Ola (3 June 1907 - 7 Nov 1911). William supposedly drowned while fishing with another man, his body was never recovered. He must have died between 1907-1911, as Lula Belle remarried in December 1911 to William Jasper Pennington.
