Hi, I'm new on this list. I am trying to find more information about JOHN ROGERS. I have a bio of a great grandfather from 1880 or so in Brown County, Ohio which indicates "his paternal grandmother was a Miss Hilliard and a member of the John Rogers family". Well, the grandmother is PRISCILLA HILLIARD b.Sept. 1749 in Little Compton, RI, who married JOHN EARL of Westport, MA in 1770. But, who is JOHN ROGERS and what is the exact connection? Is he simply a Mayflower descendant or am I supposed to know something more about him? I would appreciate any guidance you can give me. Thanks. - Fran in Florida
