I have long thought that the 1913 death date for John Page was incorrect, but every Rogers who was doing genealogy was using it. I have a Bruce Arthur b abt 1880 married a J. M. Fisher in Fulton County, Ar 9 Sep 1900. Is this your husbands family? This is all I have concerning Bruce Arthur. My great-grandfather was Robert Alexander the uncle Robert you mentioned. I have thirteen children listed for John and Mary. I would be very interested in seeing what you have. Where was John Page living when your father-in-law knew him, about when did he think he died, do you have any idea where John and Mary were buried, and did he have any recollections of Mary or know anything about her family ??? Lore down my line says they went to live with a daughter around Violet Hill, Ar. and were buried in the area. I have been unable to find any graves for them in that area or Fulton County. They only had two daughters Margaret did not live in that area and I don't think Tullulah did either. A cousin down the Marcus Elijah line has done alot of research on John Page's Civil War service. He says John was wounded in the shoulder at Shiloh and sent to a hospital in Ky to heal where he met Mary (who was born in Ga). He went to Ga and was wounded on 29 Apr 1864 loosing two fingers on his left hand. Any help you could give on filling in my blanks would be greatly appreciated and I will be more than happy to share what I have with you. Hope to hear from you soon, Jo Ann
