He was born in Council, Idaho, and was a cowboy at the Home Ranch in Orovada, Nev. Survivors include his daughters, Rita Corbett of Boise, Idaho, Cammie Rogers of New Plymouth, Idaho, and Candice Rogers of Escondido; sons, Richard Rogers of Boise, Idaho, Rowel Rogers of Escondido and Colin Brixey of Los Angeles; brother, David Rogers of Portland, Ore.; and eight grandchildren.
