Did you ever find anything out? I have been trying to find information about my GGrandfather Barton Rogers. I wonder if they could have been the same and maybe he married again. My Barton Rogers had a child with Lida Sandlin (I can find nothing on her either) my grandmother Mary Jane Rogers. I have found two other Barton Rogers but they don't match with mine. The only thing I know about him is that he was born in 1843 in Carroll County Kentucky and that he was a Stone Mason.
