I live in Australia and we have on our family tree a John Rogers, son of Benjamin Tillstone Rogers-Tillstone (b.1828/d.1899)) and Louise Wilkoning (a German I think). This John was reputed to have gone to the States and he had three brothers - Herman, Benjamin, Julius and my grandfather Richard. But it is believed that he never married and lived in Texas???
