    2. Ok, here's my family. I've never had much luck finding others searching same line but maybe I'll get lucky this time! My line starts with Prudence Rogers born about 1735-1740. She was in Cumberland County, VA atleast by 1760s where records show 6 of her children being "bound out" (3 in 1760s; 3 more in 1770s). She was in Campbell County, VA by 1783 where she purchased land. Her children were: Sarah (b. 1750s); Jane (b. 1750s); Ann (b. 1750s); Ansel (b. 1766); Nathaniel (b. 1760s); Elizabeth (b. 1750s). Ansel Rogers went with his mother to Campbell County and after her death, moved to Henry County, VA where he married Frances Gibson. Together, they moved to Washington County, VA by 1820 and then by 1850 to Sullivan County, TN. Ansel and Frances were the parents of the following. James Rogers, b. 1825 married Rebecca Shaver. Stayed in Sullivan County, TN/Washington County, VA. Prudence Rogers b. 1810; Sullivan County, TN (Had three sons: William Henry Rogers; b. 1833; James Rogers; b. 1830 <moved to Greene/Christian/Stone Co, MO> and Thomas Franklin Rogers, b 1849 Sullivan County, TN) Ruth Rogers b. 1820s; Washington County, VA Nathaniel B. Rogers b. 1818; Lived in Louisville, KY Lettitia (Letty) Rogers; b. 1820s lived in Washington Co, VA George W. Rogers; b 1826 lived in Lawrence County, OH Julia Rogers; b. 1820s ? Nancy Rogers; b. 1810s ? Solomon Rogers; b. 1810s ? Spicy Rogers; Married Squire Shaver lived in Sullivan County, TN and supposedly moved to Ohio Elizabeth Rogers; b. 1820s; married Martin Shaver. Died after 1860 but children lived in SW VA and NE TN. Anyone know these folks ?!?
