Well here is my info, Looking for links and or info on my GGfather and GGmother from Benton County MS shown below ------ William Thomas (Billie) Rogers bn 16 Oct 1860 in Tippah County MS (near Salem, MS that later became Benton County MS). He died 4 Mar 1901 in Benton County MS. He md Ellen Rachel Jane Poff 20 Feb 1879 in Benton County MS. Ellen was bn 22 Sep 1859 in Tippah County and died 10 Aug 1950. Both are buried in Bluff Springs Cemetery in Benton County MS near Ashland MS. Ellen is dau of John Benjamin A. Foster Poff and Sarah A. Shelby. I believe that this William Thomas Rogers appears in 1870 Census of Tippah County conducted on 30 June 1870 for Township #4. This Census shows: William Rogers, age 34, bn MS Thomas Rogers, age 10, bn MS Frances Rogers, age 6, bn AR Alice Rogers, age 4, bn AR Elizabeth Rogers, age 3, bn AR I have no other info on this William Rogers and his 4 children except what appears in this 1870 Census. I do not know name of his wife or any more info about his 3 daughters which appear in this census. BUT the name, age, and location of this Thomas Rogers appears to be a possible link to my William Thomas Rogers -- and if so -- this William Rogers may be father of William Thomas Rogers. I have reached a real roadblock here and have been unable to verify real parents of my William Thomas Rogers or who were his ancestors!! Would greatly appreciate ANY help!!
