I'm responding to your query with one of my own. You mentioned that one of John Rogers sons was a Benjamin Rogers & that the family moved to Montgomery County Illinois in the early 1800's. Do you have any further info on Benjamin? I wonder if he might be my greatgrandfather. My grandfather was Roy C. Rogers born to Benjamin & Elvira (Walker) Rogers on 7/4/1878 in Lincoln (Logan Co) Illinios. Logan Co is 3 or 4 counties north of Mongomery County. Any information is greatly appreciated.
