I'm sorry but our Rogers were Rodgers thru the mid-1800's and are from Missouri and Virginia. Good Luck. I wonder if you have found any further info on this family. My father is Joseph Albert Berard. He had a sibling, George Berard and they were raised in a Catholic orphanage in NJ. Their mother was Ethel Rogers Berard who I believe was from Maine. I believe she had a sister named Mae. Ethel was at least 1/2 Choctaw Indian, and I have found her name on the Dawes rolls of Choctaw Indians in 1907. She was born in 1906, I believe and died in NJ approx 1985. I would love some more info my family heritage. thanks! ==== ROGERS Mailing List ==== un subscribe or change modes any Rogers list http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/surname/r/rogers.html This link will connect you to the Rogers website of All Rogers Contacts listed including the New message boards http://resources.rootsweb.com/surnames/r/o/ROGERS/ ============================== Gain access to over two billion names including the new Immigration Collection with an Ancestry.com free trial.
