He served with the 10th KS Infantry. . Apparently, he was brought up on charges for sleeping upon his post. He ended up being acquitted but when the case was reviewed, it was determined that the court had erred and should have found him guilty. He was returned to his regiment for service. If any descendants of his would like a copy of his file, I can email it to them.
