She was supposedly descended from the famous (then infamous) Rogers family of Major Robert Rogers of Rogers's Rangers. He was one of three sons of James and Mary Rogers, who were from Londonderry, NH. in the 1720's. Some of the family subsequently moved to Vermont, and since they were loyalists during the Revolutionary War, they relocated to Upper Canada. There is a note on a death certificate for one of Mary Jane's daughters that Mary Jane was born in Vermont. After the revolution, the Rogers clan fled to Upper Canada, and I find records of children born to Mary Jane, her being married to one Issac aka Nazaire Dame. There are records from Cornwall, Ontario in the late 1800's, but only of their daughters' birth certificates. Problem is there is no marriage record, and she supposedly died in 1888 or 89, but there is no death record. The family then moved to Fitchburg, MA I want to know if there is a genealogy ! for this Rogers family,so that I can track her from her ancestors side. Please help if you can. Thank you.
