Her father was william Rogers. I have her on the 1900 census as a 10 year old in Tiptonvill, Lake County Tenn. with her widowed mother, Lucy Ann Morris Rogers and her sister ,17, Ida Rogers and her brother ( my grandfather) Charles Henry Rogers. Mabel Married first a Davis, he died soon after and she then married Clarence Hawkins. They lived in St. Charles Co. Mo. She died young. The reason this al sounds kind of familiar is family lore has it there is Cherokee blood in our family . Ring any bells???
