My mother was Mary Rogers from Buckatunna Ms. Her grandfather was Alonzo L. Rogers (died 1944). He owned a general store in Buckatunna. His father was William J. Rogers from Wayne County. I do not know the father of William. My mother (Mary) told me Jimmie was a cousin, and that he came to the house in Buckatunna. Alonzo also told my uncle that Jimmie stayed at the house many times. My mother Mary is 91, but her memory is deteriorating. My uncle has done extensive searching but cannot find the link to Jimmie Rodgers.
