I have traced my roots back to a David Rogers also, but mine settled in Jefferson County Ohio in 1802 and we have been there for 7 generations now. I am still trying to find David's parents. Daniel, I would be interested in knowing whom your David married and when and where they got married, if you know. Also, if you know his wife's in-laws names, well of coarse, he'd know something, but how much you have about them. I am not being nosy, but might have some ideas. Of coarse, I am flying by the seat of my pants, as they say, here because I know nothing of your Rogers, plus I don't know how much you have and how long you've been searching data on them. By the by; have you had any access to County Court Minutes of the area? I realize that going over them isn't very exciting but oft times you can come upon something of interest. I found the name of someone I needed in the danged item I found in some old VA court minutes. I was getting pretty bored; it was sort of like counting door knobs; just going over these old items about paying road crews, who was put on juries, etc, and then POW, an item came up and I got back one generation, just by a fluke. Can't say I've had any more luck like that lately and I have been trying for 50 years to take our McCoys back and haven't been able to, so I know the frustration. Just offering an idea. Seriously though, if you wouldn't mind, I would like to know your David's wife and his children and so on, if its no problem. Have a good one.
