I'm wondering if anyone has any info at all on a Rogers [Roggers/Rodgers] family connected with a Conaway [Conway?] family that would have been in GA in the early to mid 1800s. I am trying to find the parents of Catherine Rogers, Mary Conaway or Martha Elizabeth Rogers Daniels. I have found Catherine(birth year approx. 1858 in AL -- mother's birthplace GA, father's AL) and her husband Peter Lawson Daniels (birthyear approx. 1855 AL or TX) living with Mary Conaway (birthyear approx. 1810 from GA) living in Palo Pinto TX in 1880. Catherine is called "Martha" on subsequent census' and on her and Peter Daniels' marriage license. Since Mary Conaway is listed as "grandmother" and is from GA as is Catherine's mother, I am assuming that she is Catherine's, rather than Peter Daniels', grandmother.
