Married Rosa Roads b 9/19/1870, same town. He d 8/1944, she 3/1956. Her parents were James Roads and Sarah Medsker. John Wesley's father, John Roland Rogers, 1/8/1833 - 12/15/1871, m Cynthia A. SELPH, 7/31/1835 - 4/28/1914. Cynthia SELPH remarried Daniel Tharp after John's death at age 38. John Wesley was listed under the Tharp residence in the 1880 census) John Roland's father was Robert Rogers, married Nancy Philips or McFarland (pretty sure it was McFarland). HE was born 12/27/1786 in VA or MD. d 1/31/1854 in Hillsboro, OH Robert's father Thomas b 1765 in MD, d 1838 in OH, married Sarah Young, b 1765 in NC. Thomas's father Thomas b 1721, in West Nottingham PA, d 3/18/1772 same place. Married Catherine ???, b 1741 Then another father Thomas b 7/11/1690 Bucks County PA, d 8/27/1748 W. Nottingham, married ELizabeth Hinson, b 1694 Cecil County MD. Last father Thomas, b ca 1662, probably England, married Hannah Mugeridge ca 1687.
