He was born 8/21/1885, in either Kentucky or Tennessee, or Illinois. His mother was Ann Morrison, his father ? Rogers died when he was quite young in a mine in Southern Illinois. He married Ada Wright Williams in Tiptonville Tennessee in 1908. They had several children there and moved to across the river to Mo. around 1925, they followed the Mississippi river north, living in Modoc , Illinois on the way, then West Alton, Mo. then back to Modoc, where Ada died. He returned to West Alton, where he died in the 1980's. His mother , Ann, I believe was from Kentucky. There may be indian blood in there somewhere.
