    2. Nancy Beinhorn
    3. Margarett ROGERS, b. 1813, Martin Co., NC was the daughter of Everett ROGERS, b. 1770, Martin Co., NC. Shortly after Margarett was born, Everett ROGERS, first wife unknown, and family moved into the Hardin Co., TN area which was then Indian lands. Hardin Co. was not formed until 1818. His known children were Armizza, Thomas H., Samuel Everett, Margarett, Henry, Elizabeth, and James Carroll. Margarett married Christopher Columbus Alexander, b. 1811, Wilson Co., TN in Hardin Co., TN, son of Ezekiel Alexander, Jr. and Mary Polly Cooper, about 1837. They had one child, Armissa/Armizza Fatame Alexander, b. TN. This family later moved to Texas to the Nacogdoches area. When Smith Co., TX was formed, they were living in that area. C. C. Alexander, wife Margarett, daughter Armissa, and father-in-law Everett Rogers are enumerated on the 1850 Smith Co, TX census. C. C. was the first County Clerk of Smith Co., TX. His brother-in-law, Samuel Everett Rogers was a County Commissioner. All of Everett Rogers' known children, with the exception of Armizza (+Jeremiah Harrison Pickens) who moved to Tippah Co., MS, moved to the Nacogdoches, Nacogdoches Co., TX area. Interestingly, Everett married #2 to Lydia Harrison Pickens, widow of Jonathan Pickens, Jr. of Hardin Co., TN. They also moved to Tippah Co., MS where they lived near her son, Jeremiah, and his daughter, Armizza, until Lydia's death in 1837. Sometime after that date, Everett made his way to TX to live nearby the rest of his Rogers children. Seeking contact with LOIS who posted information on ROGERS, ALEXANDER, HOGG families.
