His name is Allen P. Rogers born about 1804 in NC. Don't know where are anything about his parents or syblings. I found his family in Franklin Co., Ala. in the 1860 census with wife, Elizabeth, married within the year. Children: Margaret, age 17; Melonta, age 15; William D., age 12; Lucinda, age 10; John C., age 8; Cleopatra, age 6; Sarah J., age 4; Modenina, age 2; and Manda B., age 1. The names of some his children are also found in your family. I found a daughter born in 1865, Deverlin Price or Price Deverlin. She would have been Allen's and Elizabeth's daughter. Elizabeth was with some of the children in 1870 census in Pontotoc Co. Miss. Name was spelled Rodgers when they got to Miss., but my great-grandmother kept Rogers as the spelling of her last name. Allen apparently died during or after the Civil War. Don't know when or where he is buried. Any information concerning this family would be greatly appreciated.
