I'm looking for the parents of Abel Rogers, born in New London CT on 9 Sep 1759, died in Lyme CT on 3 Jun 1845, married Hannah Rogers on 19 Feb 1784. Abel was a Revolutionary War Veteran who was allocated a pension just prior to his death. I have been looking for his parents for years and have had no luck.
