I'm interested to see if we have any connections. My rogers connection is through Willougby Rogers (b ca 1790 VA, d 1855 Blount Co., TN. He served in the NC militia in the Revoutionary War and lived in Virginia, several places in North carolina and then in Blount Co. TN on the border beteen Sevier Co.at a town called Ellejoy, near Maryville south of Knoxville. The family migrated to southern Indiana in the mid-1830's and then to Davis Co., IA in the mid-1840's. Willoughby's granson Willoughby Davis married Martha Ann Brown and their daughter Emily Davis married my great grandfather Frank Bicknese. They spent their last years in teh area around Worthington, MN. Their daughter Orla married Thomas Woods in that area in 1919. I noticed you have a "Wood" line in your tree. I have "Woods".
