Just wondering if one of the sons could have been Jefferson C. Rogers, born in 1820 somewhere in Tennessee. In 1850 he was in Pikesville, Bledsoe Co., TN, with his wife, Nancy Adaline Carder Rogers, and their three sons, James M., 2 1/2, and their 2-month-old twins, David F. and Ephraim Hicks Rogers. E. H. "Red" Rogers later was a North Texas Church of Christ circuit rider. He was my grandfather, though he died in 1922 before I was born. Despite 25 years of searching I have not been able to determine just who Jefferson C. Roger' parents were. Any help greatly appreciated.
