John mrd. Ruth?? between 1781 to 1785 in Grand Bank, Newfoundland. It also states that Thomas b. 1805 in Grand Banks, Newfoundland and Luke b. 1824 in Newfoundland were his sons. I am trying to connect them to my family line of Rogers. Eli Rogers b. abt 1828, country unknown, mrd Frances Major, Fortune, Newfoundland and his son, Amos Rogers b. 1852 in Fortune, Newfoundland, etc. Could John have had a brother who was Eli father? Could Eli be John's son, too?? If anyone has any information, I would really appreciate hearing from you.
