Since we don't know anything about our ancesters such as siblings, parents etc. There is always a possibility that a connection might be found somewhere down the road. This is a list of my great-great-grandfather, Allen P. Rogers family listed in 1860 Census of Franklin Co., Ala. Allen 56, born NC; Elizabeth 41 or so, born NC; All the Children were born in Ala. Margaret 17, Melonta 15; William D. 12; Lucinda 10, John C. 8; Cleopatra 6; Sarah J. 4; Modenina 2; Manda B. 1. It is possibly that there are older children that had already married and left home. But this as far back as I can go with the family except. Allen own land in Franklin Co., Ala. I believe the land deed was dated in the late 1840's. I don't know anything about any family back from 1860. I have traced some of his children in North Mississippi including my grandmother, Cleopatra. The best I can figure out is that they came to North Mississippi after the Civil War. I have kept the information found here in my folder in case I ran across anything that might answer some questions we have.
