There was more than one DOSWELL ROGERS. Several on this list has been researching this name.. Eleanor Edmundson for one. My gg grandmother, Sarah J. (Rogers) Stump Beasley's father was Alexander Stinson Rogers. He is buried near Belle, Maries Co. MO, in the Travis cemetery. Buried near him is "what we believe to be" a brother, Doswell Rogers. We can trace the family back to Madison Co. TN where Alexander and wife, Delinda Wallace married.. and farther back to east TN. There may be someone on this list with more information. Ellie S.
