My g-g-g-g grandfather, Joseph Rogers was born in 1750 in Amelia Co., VA to John Rogers and ???. John Rogers' wife may have been an Osborne, Mobley or Ledford Both Joseph and his father moved to Fairfield District, SC by the 1770's. John Rogers died there in 1790. John's other children included: Thomas, Frances, Mary Jane, Richard, James, and William. According to Joseph's Rev. War Pension ap, he was in Fayette Co., KY by around 1790, GA (Oglethorpe) from about 1792-1805, and Rutherford and Bedford Co.s TN from about 1805 until his death ca 1830's.
