I have been searching for Samuel Rogers (my brick wall) who was born in 1800 give or take 10 years. We don't know where he was born. His son George Washington was supposedly born 1828 in Palmyra, New York. Samuel may also have had sons Samuel Jr, John, Charles and Ausell (Ansell), and daughter called Polly. I don't suppose this is your line. The strange thing is that my grandmother who married into this Rogers line also descends from the Buck family.
